From this sixties HAMMOND B3 to this ROLAND VK-88 In all musical instrument advertising, the sound of the old HAMMOND organs is now called "Tonewheel" and many manufacturers are trying to duplicate that famous and still sought-after sound. ROLAND has successfully done just that and put it in a wooden cabinet that is virtually and ergonomically the same as the old HAMMOND B3 console and has added many contemporary features only dreamed of in those days. Our favorite setup is the ROLAND VK-88 with a ROLAND C-190 pipe organ keyboard on top. Then a ROLAND KC-500 stereo keyboard amplifier and a LESLIE 771 rotary speaker. From Gospel, to Orchestral, to Classical, you have it all and what a sound! VK-88 brochure VK-88 info VK-88 more info
