LANGE MUSICAL ELECTRONICS
Lange Musical Electronics began in 1987. Rick Lange set up the organ and keyboard repair shop in Lehigh, Florida and did service calls in homes, churches, and music dealerships. The showroom and service center is now located on five acres of pure natural beauty in North Fort Myers, Florida. The business is now called South Florida Organ and is a direct importer for Johannus church organs. South Florida Organ has other products from such manufacturers as Roland, Motion Sound, and Leslie.
SERVICE CENTER OBJECTIVES
- Provide customer and dealer service utilizing problem solving and analytical skills requiring attention to detail on musical electronics and mechanical systems related to music
- Perform bench repair, installation, and maintenance
- Perform hardware and software updates
- Utilize test equipment for component level and modular troubleshooting
- Utilize diagnostic software for system errata
- Interface with manufacturer’s technical support staff and end-user
- Provide pickup and delivery service for dealers and stores
- Provide on-location field services with fully equipped truck
- Expedite manufacturer’s warranty claims for customers
- Operate as a business in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations

RICK LANGE was in the first graduating class of ITT Technical Services in 1969 for an Associate Electronics degree. He then took classes at Ventura College in California for Systems Analysis and Computer Programming.
Rick Lange is also a 15-year member of Musical Instrument Technicians Association and regularly attends seminars for continuing education.
