DON DOWNS

   DON DOWNS  studied piano under Aida Bidlack and studied organ under Arthur Hatch in West Milford, New Jersey. He was also accompanist for the West Milfred High School Choir and other schools in that area.

   Don was assistant organist for 10 years at Pequannock Reformed Church  in  Wayne, NJ and organist for 3 years at the Kinnelon Reformed Church in Kinnelon, NJ.  Before moving to Florida, Don Downs was organist and music director at Green Pond Bible Chapel in Newfoundland, NJ for 20 years and then as organist and music director at Fardale Trinity Church in Ramsey, NJ.

   Don moved to Florida to retire and soon became organist at North Naples Baptist Church in Naples for 2 years and now at present, Don has been organist at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Naples for the past 3 years.

   Don is a sales executive for South Florida Organ and lives with his wife Barbara in Naples, Florida.
